Xinomavro is the closest thing wine has to a free lunch: a grape that delivers the pale color, high acid, firm tannin, and tar-and-roses perfume of Barolo, at a fraction of the price. The heartland is Naoussa, in northern Greece (with great bottles from Amyndeon too). Every one of these is in stock, sits at or under $35, and punches far above it.
(Prices are approximate US retail and shift with vintage and store — treat them as a guide.)
